Welcome to Dr. Bhat’s Padma Ayur Varma Nilayam
Dr. Bhat’s Padma Ayur Varma Nilayam (Outpatient Department
only) carries forward a legacy of healing rooted in Ayurveda, Marma Chikitsa,
and holistic medicine traditions. The center began its journey in 1998 under
the name Saroja Panchakarma & Varma Chikitsa Centre, guided by the
vision of Late Dr. P. Anantha Bhat, a dedicated homeopath, and supported
by Dr. A. Rangaprasad Bhat, an Ayurveda physician.
Since its inception, the clinic has been serving patients
with specialized therapeutic practices including Panchakarma, Marma
Chikitsa, Ayurveda consultation, Homeopathy, Flower remedies, and intuitive
mind guidance.
The Legacy of Healing
Dr. P. Anantha Bhat’s journey is an inspiring tale. Once an Honorary
Judicial Magistrate, he chose a path of healing after mastering Homeopathy
and registering as an RMP under the ISM&H in 1990. His roots go even
deeper, his father, Vaidya Ranga Bhat, was a renowned folk medicine
practitioner and an expert in Garadi and Marma traditions, a rich
heritage connected with therapeutic martial practices similar to Kalari.
This lineage continues with Dr. A. Rangaprasad Bhat,
the third generation of this family of healers. After graduating from S.D.M.
College of Ayurveda, Udupi (1992 batch), he dedicated himself to advancing
the field of Marma Chikitsa. His practice blends classical principles
with thoughtful innovations, while always upholding the integrity of Ayurveda’s
energy pathways connecting marmas and chakras.
Professional Journey
- Served
as a faculty member at Venkataramana Ayurveda College, Mylapore
(Chennai), until 2009, teaching Anatomy (Sharira Rachana), ENT (Shalākya
Tantra), and Panchakarma.
- Since
2009, has been a full time practitioner, specializing in Marma
Chikitsa for chronic bone and joint disorders, acute sports injuries,
and neuromuscular conditions.
- Known
for his spiritually rooted approach, he also supports patients facing stress
and emotional imbalances through intuitive guidance, always
attributing healing to the blessings of Lord Narayana and Guru Shri
Raghavendra.
Vision and Philosophy
Dr. Rangaprasad Bhat firmly believes in breaking the myth
that Ayurveda is slow in action. With proper diagnosis and accurate medicines,
Ayurveda can deliver effective and timely healing. His mission is to treat,
teach, and spread awareness about Ayurveda’s true potential.
Many of the medicines prescribed in the clinic are prepared
in house under his personal supervision, ensuring authenticity and quality.
The Personal Touch
Unlike larger centers, here each patient receives undivided
attention and tailored therapies. Consultations and procedures are performed by
Dr. Bhat alone, ensuring you always interact directly with your doctor, never
with assistants or intermediaries.
Drawing from a rich lineage of healers and extensive
training, Dr. Bhat integrates classical Ayurveda, Marma Therapy,
Panchakarma, and intuitive guidance each visit is shaped by deep listening and
thoughtful application of tradition and research.
Healing is a Partnership
The ethos here is simple: healing is not just medicine, it's
connection, trust, and respect for individual needs. Dr. Bhat is committed to
guiding every patient safely on their path back to health, addressing body,
mind, and spirit.
Embracing Diversity Connecting Across Cultures
Padma Ayur Varma Nilayam welcomes patients from all walks of
life and language backgrounds. Dr. Bhat communicates fluently in Tulu,
Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, and reads Sanskrit and
Hindi, bridging comfort and understanding for every visitor.
